RESIN (HDPE, LDPE, PET, PP)
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) - The majority of plastic bottles utilize HDPE resins because they are inexpensive, durable, and provide superior moisture barriers. 24% of HDPE bottles are recycled, and then used to make pipes, garden products, film and sheet plastic.
LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LDPE) - LDPE plastic bottles are squeezable, strong, and can withstand cold temperatures. They are most commonly used for condiments and lotions.
